my liebster pad.

Tuesday, October 23

I didn't even have to use my liebster pad (ya know, like leapster pad?  Okay, it was a long shot.) to teach me what the liebster award was because the lovely Jessica was nice enough to clue me in.  (Her blog is adorable and her pictures are phenomenal!!)  It's an award given to new and upcoming bloggers with less than 200 followers.  Well, I surely beat that limit by a landslide!  I was seriously so flattered because blogger has been wrangling me around for almost a year now.  I never thought the day would come that I could truly call myself my blogger.  Well, I'm saying it loud and proud today folks!  I love to blog!! I write about pointless things but I think that is because I feel like this is somewhat like my journal.  I had to make it public or I knew I wouldn't write but then you can only write so much.  I most likely cross than line on a regular basis but it's fine.  I want to print out the blog at the end of every year and make into a book.  I know, I'm productive.

The Catch:  By accepting the award, you have some rules to follow.
1. Each person must post 11 things about themselves
2. Answer the questions the nominator made for you and also create 11 more questions for the blogs you nominate
3. Choose 11 people and link them to your post
4. Go to their page and tell them.
5. No tag backs!  (You can't tripple stamp a double stamp Loyd!)

Eleven things about Mrs. Naulu herself:

> I cannot stand staticy hair.  It drives me so insane, Dall considers slapping me in the psych ward.
> I teach the 6 & 7 year olds in Primary.  They're a real hoot.
> I want to have a baby.  Real bad.
> I am majoring in special education and cannot wait to be a teacher.
> I will forever love polka dots and stripes.  It's a dang good thing they're in style.
> I have a fear of being rich.  Even though you could do glorious things for people, I think it would be a huge responsability.
> One day, I wouldn't mind opening a daycare in my home.  Yes, I'm completely sane.
> Before I chose going into education, I wanted to be a chef or an eye doctor.
> Sometimes I eat cottege cheese on tomatoes.
> I absolutely love being married.  I am so grateful I tied the knot at 19.
> I have an irrational fear of labor (birthing a baby).  And the ocean.

Jessica's Questionaire:

1. What did you want to be when you were little?
I was always an annoying teacher's pet.  Yeah, the little yappy kind that nip at your ankle.  So... inevitably, I wanted to be a teacher.  A math teacher at that.  Call me crazy.
2. If you could own any animal what would it be?
Considering that I am allergic to animals, (yes, all of the hairy ones) I would want to say none, but then I remember it doesn't have to be hairy.  A dolphin.  I would want to own a dolphin so I could get a picture kissing it and we could swim together.  All. the. time. How classy am I?
3. What is your favourite TV show at the moment?
This is rough one.  I'm a big fan of Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, and New Girl.  But my favorite TV show of all time and at this very moment is Friends.  We own all 12 seasons and the final episode.  It's an unbeatable TV series.
4. What 4 words would you use to describe yourself?
Depressed. Awkward. Ugly. Pathetic. I'm kidding people!  I always hate these type of questions.  I would say, Kind, Positive, Odd, Slightly humerous?
5. If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be and why?
Emma Stone.  She rocks, she's funny, and she's beautiful.  I wouldn't mind be ridiculously rich and having zero privacy for one day; but then it would get old.
6.What is the best and worst thing about blogging?
The best thing:  I can finally feel successful at recording my life.  After 50 different one page journal attempts, I was feeling quite hopeless.
The worst thing:  When I first started blogging, I didn't know how to do anything and what was considered "normal" if you will, in the blog world so I copied people's ideas.  HUUUHHHH!!!! (That's a gasp)  I know, It happened.  That is a naughty thing to do and I have learned.  It is so important to be original.  Everyone has a different style and gloriously bight ideas so why not put them use? (I also hate how hard it is to figure things out sometimes)  HTML coding?  How are we suppose to learn the alien language used to change our blogs?
7. Finish this sentence, 'if you want to spoil me rotten, buy me...?
Food.  All of my favorite foods.  I will love you for eternity.  Oh, and maybe a pearl ring.  I've always wanted one.
8. What is at the top of your bucket list?
The ordinary, non-unique answer: skydiving
The crazy, lovely, glorious, semi-rational answer: have a baby.
9. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Switzerland.  I hear it's beautiful.  Glorious chocolate and cheese? Yes please!  I also reeeaally want to try their non-alcoholic beer.
10. What food can you not resist?
Pickles.  Clausen pickles.
11. What is your favourite time of the year and why?
Autumn.  Fall, fall, FALL!!!  Why you ask?  Boots, scarves, sweaters, jackets, leaves, picnics, perfect weather, let's be honest, I could go on forever.

My Eleven Question Interrogation:

1. How did you meet your hubby or significant other?
2. If you knew you were dying tomorrow, how would you spend your day?
3. What is something on this earth you could not live without?
4. What is your favorite resturant of all time?
5. What is your biggest fear? Think hard now.
6. What is a habit others have that makes you feel super uncomfortable?
7. If you won 1 millin dollars, what would you buy first?
8. What is one of you biggest dreams?
9. If you could go on a date with one celebrity, who would it be?
10. If your house was burning down and you could only take one thing with you what would it be (people excluded)?
11. What is your favorite recipe?
