Marleigh Kaye Naulu

Marleigh Kaye Naulu has finally arrived.  She is as beautiful as I could have ever imagined.  She is literally perfect.  I always had this weird theory that it took babies a few days to get past the little alien newborn stage.  That is completely false!  She was gorgeous right out of the womb!  I seriously could stare at her for hours.  I love how we can stare at and smell babies all the time and it's not creepy at all. ha ha   I am so excited that there is finally a baby around, I just wish she didn't live clear in Salt Lake.  This is the first grandchild on both sides so she is going to be one spoiled little miss!  Grandpa and Grandma Naulu were dancing in the car because they were so happy!  You can officially call me Aunty Cait, it's my favorite title so far!

My sweet mother-in-law planned the beautiful sister-in-law a baby shower.  I had the honor of hosting and decorating for the shower.  Considering it is finals week, this is the best I could do.  The last week or so has been a complete blur because of my busy bee schedule but it's been really fun at the same time.  The shower turned out great and we had a blast!  I am so glad Mikell's due date of May 18th is getting nearer and nearer but it's not coming quick enough for my liking! ha ha I seriously cannot wait to meet Baby Naulu, she needs to come quick.  Can you believe she is 8 months pregnant in these pictures??  Yeah I know, it's ridiculous.  She this tiny little stick other than her cute little belly.  This is what my pregnancy will look like in my dreams people.  I know I'm going to swell up like a balloon which may be due to my cow eating habits that I know will continue, probably even enhance during my pregnancy but I'm okay with that.  Kell definitely has the mama glow about her and she looks absolutely amazing!  Now she just needs to take her good looks and go have the baby.

Saia & Kell,  You two are absolutely glorious inside and out and I cannot wait to meet the little miss.  You guys have always been a great example to Dall and I and I know without a doubt that this will continue to be the case.  You two are going to make amazing parents and I cannot wait to take notes, literally.  You guys are amazing and we are soooo happy for you!!  There is only one condition in order to keep us around, you HAVE to let us see the baby on a daily basis. ha ha Love you guys!

Gender reveal party.  Best idea ever created.  It was an absolute blast!  This is the first grandchild on both sides so it's quite the anticipated event. Hurry baby Naulu, come quick so I can snuggle you.... and possibly steal you. Shhh

At first they weren't going to find out the gender and I thought they had literally lost their minds.  Come on, where is the logic in that?  (unless you already have a boy and a girl) How in the world am I going to start buying cute baby shoes, clothes, and more shoes?  I may have peed a little when I opened the party invitation in the mail.  (wetting my pants has occurred way too often in my posts, my apologies)

They had the news put in an envelope which they took to magelby's so they knew what color of frosting to put in the cake.  We all found out together and I'll see if I can upload the video because Saia's reaction was quite humorous.  I feel like 90 percent of the people there were so sure it was a boy.  They almost had me convinced until the cake was cut.  I seriously cannot wait until this little miss comes.  I can't wait to meet her!  

I am sooo happy for you Saia & Kell.  You guys are going to be absolutely amazing parents!

Sunday dinners at the parentals are always supreme. 

I taught my first official lesson in primary today.  It went well.  I think I try too hard to make them like me and think I'm funny.  For some reason, a child's opinion always matters a lot.  I love their honesty and bright spirits. 

Tomorrow is the first day of preschool after a week of being sick.  I can't wait.  I miss them.  Summer is going to be rough.

Over the weekend, some fine gems found their way into our home.  I'm hoping I'll remember to take pictures.  Cross your fingers.  Zero kidding.  My memory is impeccably bad.  Makes total sense, I know but it's true.  The D.I. gives me tunnel vision.  On a billion things at once.  It's a problem.  I go so crazy that D can't keep up with me.  We left with tons of clothes, home decor items, and parts of our halloween costumes.  What are we being?  I cannot disclose that information.  You'll be able to put it in the books though.  I never dress up so this is big news.

Yet another random, babbling post.

Happy (almost) Monday.  I really like Mondays.  I feel bad because they get left high and dry because everyone loves every other day more.  Be positive peeps!  At least we're alive for another week on this beautiful Earth!

Jessica Lynn, I look up to you so much.  Thank you for always being such a great example to me.  You have the biggest heart and have a gift for reaching out to people.  You have a way with others and always go out of your way to do something kind.  You have the strongest testimony of the gospel which inspires me to my core.  You are the most hilarious person I know.  Seriously, you make me pee in my pants.  I am so blessed to have in you my life, let alone have your blood.  I thank Heavenly Father for you everyday.  I hope I can be even partially as glorious as you someday.  You are amazing my sister friend.  I love yer guts!

I once was a boy.  Oh, did you not know?  I was the only boy my dad baptized.  Considering my parents had three girls, this claim is not extremely flattering.
