frankly, scare the crap out of me.
i will most likely stick to breasts from here on out.

glorious recipe though:

Soy Teriyaki Chicken & Rice

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce (nothing but kikkoman of course)
1/2 cup honey teriyaki marinade (kc Masterpiece)
chicken thighs or breasts (both turned out fine for me)
i would also recommend skinless thighs.  i had to skin them raw, and we'll just say
i may of dry heaved around three times. stretchy, raw things do not settle well with me.


combine sugar, water, soy sauce, and teriyaki marinade in a pot.
add chicken.
low/medium heat (more to the medium)
make sure it's bubbling and cook for a good hour or until the chicken is very tender.
while chicken is cooking, start cooking rice (i use our rice cooker, its a machine full of glory.)
when both are done, combine and slap on a plate.
dinner is served people.
